I Could Go For A 1990 Pirates ICEE Right Now
FOUND: One awesome Pittsburgh Pirates-branded ICEE promo cup from 1990. From several years BEFORE the Pirates would go on to an unparalleled string of futility. So at this moment in time in 1990, you could've been in pure Pirates and iced sugar water bliss.
This also reminds me of a post from mid-2007, like 2 months into PSAMP's history. The unreal Hagen ice cream Penguins bucket my parents still have, or at least they still had it as of May, 2007. Pittsburgh sports fans could easily be on Hoarders with our collected team tchotchke, only our obsession is way too great to fit into "disgusting" territory.
Totally still have those cups lying around somewhere. Better yet are the Coca-Cola cans with the Stanley Cup + Pens logo, unopened and full of all that toxic carbonated slurm...
